SmartEIZ Innovation Prize was awarded to the best paper submitted to the SmartEIZ conference.
The idea was to gather the papers that were created during 9 training workshops where various participants presented their scientific papers. To form a team of researchers from leading institutions at SmartEIZ and to propose one of these papers for the SmartEIZ Innovation prize.
With this award, SmartEIZ project promotes the best paper in the field of Economics and Management of Innovation and Technology, which is the area of this project and which at the same time passed one of the SmartEIZ workshops. Regarding the manner of awarding the prize, it was done in two rounds of review and voting among the project partners – UCL, UNU MERIT, Bocconi and EIZ.
The prize was awarded to the paper “Bidding against the odds? The impact evaluation of grants for young micro and small firms during the recession” written by Stjepan Srhoj, Bruno Škrinjarić and Sonja Radas.
